We are dedicated to providing compassionate and professional counseling that fosters holistic healing and spiritual growth for teens (ages 13+), individual adults, and couples seeking support.
Jonathan Loufik, MA, LCPC, NCC
Jonathan seeks to create an environment where his clients feel safe and comfortable to open up during counseling. He does this by employing active listening, showing empathy, using humor, and by highlighting clients' strengths. He knows that trust and rapport are crucial to the therapy process.
Jonathan believes that counseling is most beneficial when the Bible and psychology are allowed to work hand in hand. He believes that they help an individual see a clearer view of the world around them. He seeks to comfort others as the Lord has comforted him. He works with both couples and individual adults.
Jonathan uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and faith to help clients learn how to process and reframe their thinking in a healthy and biblical manner. He believes that thoughts impact feelings, which impact behaviors, and if one can learn to change the thought at the source, then a domino effect will occur that leads to positive and lasting change.
Jonathan enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling in his spare time. He has been to 30 states in the U.S. and visited 24 countries/territories worldwide. He desires to visit every continent in the world someday. He is also very passionate about the local church and college campus ministry.
Jonathan provides convenient telehealth counseling throughout Maryland, so you can meet from the comfort of your own space—no commute, no waiting room, and no need to have it all together. Jonathan accepts all major credit and debit cards as well as HSA and FSA cards. His regular 50 minute session fee is $150 for teenagers (ages 13+), individual adults, and couples. He is out-of-network with health insurance, but if requested he can provide a superbill for his clients to give their insurance companies for reimbursement purposes. Additionally, he can offer sliding scale pricing on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out with any questions.
